Vincent Roche, CEO and President of Analog Devices worldwide, graduated in 1982 from the National Institute for Higher Education in Limerick, now the University of Limerick, with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Systems.
After a period spent in the evolving Silicon Valley, he joined Analog Devices in Limerick six years later and subsequently moved to its Norwood headquarters in Massachusetts in the 1990’s.
Founded in 1965, Analog Devices Incorporated is a multi-national semi-conductor company specialising in data conversion and signal processing technology with markets spread across the communications, healthcare, industrial instrumentation and automation, military and aerospace, automotive and consumer electronics industries.
Vincent has held senior positions in Ireland, Massachusetts and California. In May 2013, he became only the third CEO to lead the company in its nearly 50 year history and has helped to navigate the company through waves of change in the world of information and communications technology.
Vincent’s management skills and experience combined with an affable and charismatic personality have earned him his place at the top of one of the world’s leading technology companies.
In his spare time, he is an avid reader, an amateur biologist and anthropologist and keeps physically grounded as an active cyclist.
A significant number of UL graduates have risen through the ranks of the Analog Devices to hold senior positions.
