LADIES’ FOOTBALL

Our Junior A ladies’ team played their third championship match on Friday evening, May 19, away to a very strong Horeswood team. Horeswood started very quickly and were three points ahead before Taghmon-Camross settled down and got some great scores to end the first half ahead 2-05 to 1-05.

As the second half progressed we started dominating the midfield which led to great balls into the forwards and some brilliant scores from them. Horeswood only managed to score four points in the second half due to our brilliant defending and goalkeeping. Final score Taghmon-Camross 4-13 Horeswood 1-09. This is three wins from three games in the championship for Taghmon-Camross. ATHLETIC CLUB NEWS
