In October, 2016, a fire occurred in Ballyhack which left a local, elderly woman without a home. A meeting was held in the Village and everybody expressed the need to do something to get her back. People volunteered their time and expertise and a committee was set up to raise the money to help make this happen. Over the past seven months, the community has worked hard to restore the house.

We, the committee, would like to express a very heartfelt thank you to all who have made this whole effort possible. This was truly a community effort and one that the people of Ballyhack and the surrounding areas can be proud of. Welcome Home Minnie.

MINNIE’S RESPONSE – I want to thank all the people who helped in any way to get my house back together. I am so grateful to be home again. God bless each of you and your families. I will pray for you in Knock. Minnie. WEDDING BELLS
