Lotto – There was no winner of last week’s St James GAA Club lotto jackpot. Barn dance 2017 – The third annual St James GAA Club barn dance will take place on Saturday, July 15, in Shielbagga­n. Tickets for the night will go on sale in the coming week and will be available in local shops and through all members of the club. There will be good music, great food and most of all plenty of banter to be had on the night. Be warned this will be the biggest and best barn dance yet.

Féile na nGael – Huge congratula­tions to every in St James GAA Club for the successful hosting of Féile na nGael 2017. it’s a true showing of great volunteers in our community and parish to come together and put on such a fantastic weekend for our visiting teams Pádraig Pearses, Roscommon and St Lazarian’s from Laois. We hope all our teams made new friends and everyone in the club would like to congratula­te our teams on their heroic displays on the field of play. Our GAA club was turned into a mass of colour, excitement and passion for the weekend and lets hope a legacy from hosting this event will stick with the club for the coming years.

Golf classic – Preparatio­ns are now under way for the annual St James GAA Club golf classic that will take place in Wexford Golf club on Friday, July 14, A time sheet is now available. We are now taking bookings for Sugradh summer Camp 2017 at SWWFRC. The camp will run on the following dates.

WEEK 1: July 3 to July 7 (4-7 years) 10 a.m. 3 p.m., WEEK 2: July 10 to July 14 (4-7 years) 10 a.m. 3 p.m., WEEK 3: July 17 to July 21 (4-7/8-12 years) 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., WEEK 4: July 24 to July 28 (4-7/8-12 years) 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (This camp will run subject to numbers).
