Upcoming Events in Grantstown Daycare Centre: Tuesday, June 20 – Art and crafts and Card Games in the morning and Pongo in the afternoon. Wednesday, June 21 – Raheen Daycare Centre will be joining us for the day. Thursday, June 22 – Pongo in the morning and Cards and Games in the afternoon. Monday, June 26 – Exercise with Mairead, Games/Walks in the morning. Pongo in the afternoon.
The Great Big Breakfast Morning – We are having a Breakfast Morning on June 24 at 9.30 a.m to midday. Come along to Grantstown and have a Full Irish Breakfast. You can give a donation for what you fell its worth on the day. Look forward to seeing you there.
Trip To Knock – Our annual trip to Knock will take place on Friday, July 14, and Saturday, July 15. The cost of the trip is €120 PP all inclusive. A deposit of €20 is required to secure your place. For more information on this trip contact Betty at 087 9057391.

The intermediate football squad lost out by a mere one point against Adamstown in the Tom Hickey Cup.
The Junior B Team have secured a place in the league final after a walkover from Rosslare on Tuesday last. Well done lads and their mangement team John O’Sullivan, David Currid and Jason Sinnott.
This Sunday the Junior Hurlers take on Castletown Liam Mellows in the Junior Hurling League. This will take place in St Patrick’s Park at 1.30. Best of luck to the squad and to Pat Fitzharris, Larry Colman, Ken Foley and Michael Neville.
The club was represented very well for the Wexford win over Kilkenny. First up was a visit from Davy Fitz to the Legend Billy Howlin for some words of wisdom, no doubt. Deepest sympathy to the family and relatives of Diarmuid Doran, who sadly passed away on Tuesday, June 6. Diarmuid was son of Nuala and Johnny Holmes Lough and the late John Doran, husband of Sara, father of Cameron, Flora and James, brother of Don, Padge and Ciaran. His remains were brought for cremation on Thursday, June 8, followed by a memorial celebration of his life at Horetown house. May he rest in peace. DEATH
