Docks Hotel is up for sale by auction

THE RESERVE price for the Docks Hotel (formerly Portovino) bar and restaurant overlooking the River Barrow has been slashed by almost half to €275,000.

The hotel, which had a popular nightclub, restaurant and bar, is a tasteful mill conversion on the approach to New Ross town adjoining a spacious local authority car park. It was previously for sale for €500,000, but now has a €270,000 reserve price on it. The agents for the 10,000 sq ft property are PN O’Gorman in New Ross, with joint agents, Colliers International.

Viewings are on next Saturday and the following Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

An auction for the property takes place on Friday, July 14.
