Brought to court on arrest warrant for drugs charge
AN ARREST warrant was used to bring Conor Hogan of 20 Castle Court, Taghmon to the District Court sitting in Ardcavan to meet a drugs charge.
He failed to appear at a previous court and the warrant was issued during May.
Judge John Coughlan indicated that the accused man must produce €300 cash if he wanted bail.
However, Hogan opted instead to have the matter finalised without adjournment, admitting that he had €15 worth of cannabis on October 17, 2015.
The judge was told that he was already on probation and he decided to extend the bond to cover the offence.
