Three-year ban for drink driving
IT BUSINESSMAN Gavin Merrigan from Kilbraney, Newbawn was put off the road for three years on conviction for a drink drive offence.
Merrigan was intercepted by Garda John Scallan at Butlersland in New Ross on November 19 last.
Judge John Cheatle, sitting at the District Court in Wexford, decided not to impose a fine and allowed deferment of the disqualification for six months.
