Open air Mass in Adamstown

THE open air mass at St Abban’s Well, Adamstown, will take place on July 30 at 10.30 a.m.

The entry to the Well is located at the cross of Glenour. St Abban’s Well is a well known religious shrine throughout the South east of Ireland and one of the few wells that dates back to Penal times. Steeped in historic and religious values, the well has been known to give divine assistance in the curing and healing of numerous ailments.

The open air mass has become a popular annual event, attracting young and old from all over the country.

Fr Bob Nolan will be the celebrant of the Mass and will be accompanie­d by a local folk musical group. Seating and ample parking will be provided on the day.
