PARISH DRAW

The third in the present series of Newbawn parish draws will take place after 11 a.m. mass in the local parish church on this Sunday morning, July 30. The lucky winner will receive €500. The confined 200 members draw is in aid of parochial purposes with the additional €500 per month going into the parish fund for the upkeep of the church and its surroundings. Draws take place after 11 a.m. mass on the last Sunday of each month. Tickets for the draw costing just €5 each can be purchased from any member of the parish council, but you must be quick to be included in the 200 members. Best of luck to all.

MASS ON THE ROCK

This year’s annual mass at the mass rock on the slopes of Carrigbyrne Hill will take place on the evening of Sunday, August 6, at 7 p.m.

RAHEEN PATRON

The annual patron in Raheen will take place on this Saturday evening, July 29, with prayers and blessing of the graves at 6 p.m. Mass for all deceased members of the parish will follow at 6.30 p.m.

DAY CARE CENTRE OUTING

Raheen Day Care Centre summer outing takes place tomorrow (Wednesday). To facilitate those travelling mass will be in Raheen church at 11 a.m. tomorrow morning. Friday morning Mass in Raheen will be as usual at 9.30 a.m.
