Competition fierce at annual rowing event
DESPITE a few small showers early in the day, the sun eventually came out for the Ferrycarrig Regatta which saw great competition between the clubs throughout the day.
Clubs included Killurin, Edermine, Ferrycarrig, Troll and St Kearns.
All the races were in the traditional slaney cots and the award ceremony for the adult categories was in Mary Jo’s after the event where refreshments were provided.
The competition was fierce from the first race of the under-16 girls right through to the final event of the day which was the Men’s Pair Oar. RESULTS
