Killer dogs shot after sheep die

-

THREE killer dogs, who injured four sheep, were shot on sight in a field at Finchogue in New Ross on Sunday.

The dogs arrived in a pack at around 10 a.m. on Sunday and worried several sheep, injuring four.

Sergeant Eddie Wilde said they were shot on the land, adding that farmers have the right to kill dogs providing they are caught in the act of worrying sheep.
