YOGA

Age Equality Network – Co. Wexford Age Equality Network would like to invite you to join them on Tuesday, August 22, in the Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorth­y, Co. Slainte – The Show Waterford: Wednesday, September 13. €15 for show and coach. Waterford is not only the oldest City but the Quayside has witnessed firsthand some of the defining events which have defined Irish History. The REG with local Historian Dermot Power and Musical Director Colin Harries has developed a unique musical, historical and entertaini­ng Journey through many of these events. SLIMMING WORLD

Slimming World Classes continue in South West Wexford FRC on Saturday mornings, weigh in time is 9.30. Please contact Yvonne Byrne.

CAMPILE HALL

There is a weekly game of bingo being held in Campile Hall every Monday night at 8.30 p.m. in aid of the ongoing developmen­t of the hall, with prize money of €1,250 approx being paid out each night with a rolling in house lotto and Snowball also being played each night. We welcome each and everyone senior citizens, young and children alike to try it and enjoy a great night out and win some money into the bargain.

SUPERVISED STUDY

The parents supervised study group for secondary school students will recommence in Duncannon National School in September for the 2017-2018 school year from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each evening. To book or make enquiries please contact Anne at 086 3614543.

BLUEBELL CAFÉ

The Bluebell Café is open on the first Wednesday of every month, to older people, their families and carers who are coping with memory loss issues. We welcome you to come in, enjoy a cup of tea, chat and meet with others in similar situations.

We offer you an opportunit­y to obtain informatio­n and to speak with health care profession­als in your area.

HORTICULTU­RAL SOCIETY

The horticultu­ral society spent a beautiful afternoon in Tintern gardens last week. A guided tour by David was most informativ­e.

The glasshouse is really worth seeing now, as the last sheet of glass was been put in while we were there. A lovely lunch was had by all in the cafe afterwards.

Now is a good time to join the Ramsgrange horticultu­re society. Call to the tunnel any Wednesday morning 10.30 a.m. to midday.

AID FOR CHERNOBYL

Chernobyl Aid Ireland is transporti­ng aid to Belarus in early September. If you have an unwanted pair of crutches they would be very much appreciate­d in hospitals in Belarus. Please contact Mary Finn (087)6356085 to arrange collection.
