COMMUNITY LOTTO

There was no winner of last week’s jackpot of €4,400. The winning numbers were 1, 15, 19 and 29. There were three matchthree winners Each receiving €70 each. The match-three winners were Damian Nolan and, Avorey Devereux and Teresa Colfer. The next lotto draw will be held on Tuesday, September 5, and the jackpot now stands at €4,600.

DEEPEST SYMPATHY

It is with deepest regret and profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of one of our most valued club members, supporter, volunteer and underage mentor Ger Murphy.

Our thoughts, prayers and sympathies are with Ger’s wife Clara, children Cathal, Faye and Austin, parents Paddy and Millie, brother Michael, sisters Mary and Patricia, extended family and many friends.

The Murphy family have given unwavering support to St Anne’s GAA Club over many decades and their loss and ours will be immeasurab­le.

SCOUTS

The new scouting year is upon us. Registrati­on Night is September 13 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. annual Registrati­on Fee of €45 is payable to Head Office, can be paid on the night or over the next few weeks. Beavers 6-8 resume Saturday, September 16, Cubs 9-11 and Scouts 12-15 resume Wednesday, September 20.
