Illegal parking

PARKING on a New Ross pedestrian crossing led of prosecution of the registered owner of the offending vehicle in a case brought before Wexford District Court by Garda Alan Hayes.

Tom Connors, with an address at Rocklands Business Park, Ballywilliam was summonsed for dangerous parking of a Hi Lux van in South Street on January 9.

The accused was not in court to hear the garda’s evidence.

A fine of €300 was imposed by Judge Gerard Haughton who added a 12 month driving ban as details of Connors’s licence were not available to the court.
