Gorey Celtic have started the season with a bang and on Sunday they comfortably overcame Glynn-Barntown 5-1 with goals from Peter Murphy (two), Jakub Konkel, Jake Cassidy and Craig Travers.

Paddy Roche, Paddy McMahon, Larry Weafer and Jamie Myler got the goals for Campile United in their 4-0 win over Tombrack, while Wexford Albion won 5-1 away to Taghmon and Ballymurn and St. Joseph’s played out a 0-0 stalemate.
