ACTIVE RETIREMENT

Next monthly meeting – Monday, October 2, in St Louis Day Care Centre starting at 2.15 p.m. Come along for a chat with new and old friends over a cup of tea and a bun. New members welcome.

Sláinte – The Show: Wednesday, September 13 – €15 for show and coach. Waterford is not only the oldest City but the Quayside has witnessed, first-hand, some of the defining events which have defined Irish History – The Reg, Waterford, with local Historian; Dermot Power and Musical Director; Colin Harries have developed a unique musical, historical and entertaini­ng journey through many of these events. Swimming – Every Monday and Thursday at the Brandon House Hotel from 10 a.m. to midday. €5 for Active Retirement members. Contact 051 421703.

Carpet Bowls – Every Thursday 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Campile Village Hall – Members free, Non-Members €2 – all welcome, new members needed.

Ten Pin Bowling – Every Tuesday morning, in Leisure Max, Drinagh, Wexford, 11.30 p.m. to 1 p.m. €7. Lunch available €7.

We have vacancies in the following areas on our forthcomin­g Community Employment Scheme at South West Wexford Family Resource Centre: Childcare workers, Front Desk Receptioni­sts, Administra­tors, General Cleaner, Caretaker/Maintenanc­e, Cleaner to support the Sugradh Childcare Centre, Community Café, Youth.

MORNING MASS

There WILL NOT be any weekday morning Mass in Duncannon for the next two weeks. Normal weekday Masses will resume on Tuesday, September 26, at 9.30 a.m.
