CAMILE Thai Kitchen, the healthy Thai food restaurant delivery business, is looking to expand into the Wexford market.

Established in 2010 by O’Brien’s sandwich bar founder Brody Sweeney, Camile Thai Kitchen will also open three new restaurants in Ireland before the end of the year, creating 75 new jobs. These will be located in Lucan, Swords and on the Newtownards Road in Belfast.

The company also announced it is looking to add to its list of franchised restaurants by opening in several new Irish markets, including Wexford.

‘ There has already been a lot of interest in our healthy Thai food from customers in Wexford and the surrounding area. We are actively seeking potential franchise partners in Wexford town and we hope to be in a position to open our first branch there very soon,’ said marketing manager Daniel Greene.

‘With Camile Thai firmly establishing itself as market leader in Ireland, our aim is to double the size of the chain over the next few years and retain our position as the healthiest brand in home delivery.

‘We are offering potential franchise owners an exciting opportunity to become part of a proven and successful food business model, in a rapidly expanding market, and the opportunity to create a strong income stream and significant capital growth.’

Investment in a Camile Thai franchise typically costs between €250,000 and €400,000 for a 1,000 - 2,000 square foot restaurant.
