FASHION SHOW

Harry Kehoe is holding a Fashion Show in Horse and Hound September 28 at 7.30 p.m. Door prizes on night. A Variety concert will take place in Clonroche Community Centre on Sunday, October 1, at 8 p.m. in aid of the Cloughbawn GAA Centenary Ambassador fund.

WOODWORK COURSE

Raheen Family Resource Centre in conjunctio­n with Irish Heart is organising a free woodwork course in Clonroche Community Centre on Tuesday, September 19, from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. The tutor will be Tommy Kelly of Bevel Woodworkin­g school, the course is open to all and its free of charge, but booking is essential. Nomination­s are being sought from the local community for considerat­ion at the AGM to replace retiring directors. Nomination forms are available at reception for those considerin­g election to the board.

Raheen Community Developmen­t Group Ltd is the governing body of all the projects taking place at the centre under the Family Resource Centre programme. The overall aim is to work in collaborat­ion with the local community and relevant agencies to provide family support through develop community based responses for family and community.
