FASHION SHOW
Harry Kehoe is holding a Fashion Show in Horse and Hound September 28 at 7.30 p.m. Door prizes on night. A Variety concert will take place in Clonroche Community Centre on Sunday, October 1, at 8 p.m. in aid of the Cloughbawn GAA Centenary Ambassador fund.
WOODWORK COURSE
Raheen Family Resource Centre in conjunction with Irish Heart is organising a free woodwork course in Clonroche Community Centre on Tuesday, September 19, from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. The tutor will be Tommy Kelly of Bevel Woodworking school, the course is open to all and its free of charge, but booking is essential. Nominations are being sought from the local community for consideration at the AGM to replace retiring directors. Nomination forms are available at reception for those considering election to the board.
Raheen Community Development Group Ltd is the governing body of all the projects taking place at the centre under the Family Resource Centre programme. The overall aim is to work in collaboration with the local community and relevant agencies to provide family support through develop community based responses for family and community.
