This year’s Lake Region Medical 4 mile charity run is in aid of children with learning difficulties.

It takes place at the John F Kennedy Arboretum in Dunganstown on Sunday, October 15. The two bodies which will benefit are Our Lady of Fatima school in Wexford who are actively fundraising for a new playground for pupils, and Touching Hearts which was established to support the building of a new Sacred Heart Centre in Waterford city for children with physical and learning disabilities. Registration is online or at the event, which begins at 12.30 p.m. The cost to enter the 4 mile run is €15 for adults and €5 for U18s. It costs €10 to enter the 2 mile run and admission is free for U18s.

There will be plenty of children’s activities and races from 12.30 p.m. and the run and walk takes place at 1.30 p.m.

Refreshments will be served aftewards at the park. support the wonderful arts and crafts people that are helping us to keep the arts alive in this corner of the south east.’

The exhibition continues until Sunday, October 1st. October 8th. NLP Business Practitioner Certified Training runs from October 7 to October 11.
