Over 100,000 young people from all over the world make the trip to Taize each year. This trip is open to Transition, fifth Year and Leaving Cert students. SET DANCING

‘Lift the latch open the door, step right in and take the floor’ so went the words on the introduction for the Irish dancing programme presented by Din Joe Fitzgibbon on Radio Eireann many years ago. You now can try your hand at Irish set dancing in Paddy Ryan’s of Listerlin on any Wednesday night when the ‘Walls of Limerick and the Siege of Ennis’ will be among the dances being performed. All enquiries to Bernie at 087 9952313.

ROSBERCON BINGO

The sessions are attracting big crowds each week with over €1,200 being paid out in prizes. As well, there is the lotto jackpot currently standing at €500 which is up for grabs as well. With the nights closing in what better place to spend a few hours and have a chance of winning a few Euros into the bargain.

NOVEMBER OFFERINGS

The envelopes for the October Stations and the November Offerings for the priests of the parish are currently being distributed to all homes in the parish. Donations for both collections can be handed in at the weekend Masses or to the Parochial House.
