LOTTO

Unbelievab­ly for the second time in only two weeks the Tintern lotto jackpot has been won. Congratula­tions to Nick Doyle c/o J Flynn, who scooped €2,150 by matching the numbers 4, 7, 21 and 25. The jackpot now returns to €2,000 again this week. There were no match-three winners which raises that pot to €400 for this week.

BREAKFAST MORNING

Gusserane O’Rahilly’s GAA Club are hosting a breakfast morning on Saturday, October 14, in the Parish Hall Ballyculla­ne. Join us for breakfast to meet our successful junior football team and wish our junior hurlers all the best in their final.

Scoil Mhuire’s boys’ team has played three games in the Rackard Football League beating Poulfur but losing to Piercestow­n and Ramsgrange. They beatSt Leonards and Poulfur in the first round f the Mini 7’s and played Round two last Friday.

CAMOGIE

Well Done to the under-16 girls who have qualified for the Roinn one County Final by beating Buffers Alley 3-11 to 0-9 in the semi-final. They will play Craanford in the final next weekend. We wish them the Best of luck.

Halloween Party boys and girls pre-schoolers and parents are all invited to a Spooky evening of ghoulish surprises and ghostly games on Wednesday, October 25, from 6.30 – 8.30 in the Indoor Complex. Adm €5

AGM This will be held on Wednesday, November 8, in the Indoor at 8 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.

BALLYKELLY DANCE

A night of great music and dancing awaits at Ballykelly Hall on Friday, October 13, music is by Catherine and the Images and tea will be served. The fun gets under way at 10 p.m. And goes on till 12.30.

Everyone is invited to come along for what is an informal, entertaini­ng night and a great way to get some exercise. All money raised goes towards the upkeep of Ballykelly Hall.

PINK IN THE PUB PARTY

Ballyhack Ladies will be hosting the annual Pink in the Pub party to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. A night of music, fun and frolics is planned with some fantastic prizes kindly donated by local businesses. Proceeding­s kick off Saturday, October 14, at 9 p.m. Don’t forget to think pink.
