WEXFORD Credit Union joins 68,800 Credit Unions to Celebrate Global Credit Union Movement on Thursday October 19th. The theme for Internatio­nal Credit Union Day this year is “Dreams Thrive Here”, which was chosen to reflect how credit unions serve as catalysts to make different choices and career paths a reality.

As a celebratio­n of this year’s theme any of our members who have taken a new loan or topped up on an existing loan with us from the 1st of October until closing date Saturday the 16th of December will be entered into a draw to win €1000, Winner will be announced on Friday the 22nd of December.

The great thing about borrowing from Wexford Credit Union is that there are no hidden fees or transactio­n charges and our interest rates are fair and reasonable and are capped by law. Repayments are calculated on your reducing balance, so you pay less interest with each repayment. Your credit union loan is also insured in the event of your death – subject to terms and conditions – at no direct cost to you. Other lenders charge for this. You can pay off your loan early, make additional lump sum repayments or increase your regular repayments all without a penalty.
