gave quality ball to the backs who had the edge on their opponents for most of the afternoon.

A lot of work has gone into the set-pieces over the past month and the fruits of this are appearing.

There is a better balance in the back line with Killian Lett at 10 and Ivan Poole at 12. Brothers Arthur and Richard Dunne both impressed on their first starts this season.

This bonus point win now moves Enniscorthy up to fourth in the league. They play Monkstown at home in the Ross Road next Saturday at 3 p.m.

Unused sub. - Michael Farrell. UNDER-16 GIRLS Enniscorthy 42, Naas 19: Naas had eleven girls for this Leinster Under-16 Premier Division 1 qualifier on Saturday, so home side Enniscorthy matched that figure.

Enniscorthy started very well and scored a try within the first ten minutes and also converted.

Five minutes later they crossed the line to score a second try which was also converted with ease.

Naas didn’t give up and got their first try in the 25th minute and converted it.

The Slaneysiders ended the half with another two tries, also converted, to establish a 28-7 lead.

The second-half was all to play for as a very strong Naas team got their second try which was also converted.

After great tackles from both sides, Enniscorthy broke free and with a run of the century got their fifth try and the conversion was added.

Naas didn’t give up and scored their final try. The team effort of the amazing Enniscorthy girls was just superb, and they scored their sixth try with mighty strength from each girl. Another conversion followed.

The play and turnovers from the Enniscorthy girls was just magnificent.
