Fethard-on-Sea Country Markets are holding a Halloween Market on Sunday, October 29, between 10.30 and 2.30 p.m. in St Mary’s Community Hall. Come in and enjoy our Halloween treats, bakery and crafts.
FETHARD ST MOGUE’S
The intermediate hurlers played the Carlow Champions, Naomh Brid in the Leinster Championship last Saturday in Dr Cullen Park, Carlow, full report in next week’s paper.
RACE NIGHT
Fethard St Mogue’s GAA Club are running a race night on Saturday, November 18, in Nevilles. Horses are on sale from club members, please come along and support.
WEEKLY LOTTO
There was no winner of last week’s Club lotto jackpot so next week’s jackpot stands at €2,300. The winning numbers were 1, 6, 15 and 26.
SPLIT-THE-POT
This month’s Saltmills and St Kearns split-the-pot winner was Ned Finn, who won €106, congratulations Ned. The next draw will take place on October 29.
TABLE QUIZ
St Louis Day Care Centre are holding a table quiz on Saturday, November 4, at 9 p.m. in Slainte Bar, Ramsgrange. Cost per person, €10 for table of four. Prize of €100 for winning table plus raffle prizes on the night. All proceeds going towards the ongoing mini-bus fundraiser.
BLUEBELL CAFÉ
The Bluebell Café, St Louis Day Care Centre will be open on Wednesday, November 1, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for older people, their families and carers who are coping with memory loss. All are welcome to come in and enjoy a cup of tea and chat with others in similar situation and obtain information.
PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION
All are welcome to the official opening of Hook Tourism’s Hook Peninsula Photography Exhibition 2017 on Thursday, October 26, at 4 p.m. in the Dunbrody Visitor Centre, New Ross.
Images have been selected from submissions across the year and reflect the diversity and beauty of the Hook Peninsula’s historic, rural and coastal landscape.
The exhibition will be on display until November 8.
