Tina Cahill trial set for January in Australia
TINA CAHILL, the New Ross woman charged with murdering her fiance in Sydney, is due to stand trial in early 2018.
Ms Cahill’s case is listed for mention on November 8 at Burwood Local Court. It is alleged that Ms Cahill stabbed fatherof-three David (Motcha) Walsh in the neck after a row broke out in the house. Paramedics tried to revive him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ms Cahill, who is in her mid-twenties, has been listed to appear at court several times. From a well respected New Ross family, she has been in custody ever since her fiancé of less than two months David Walsh died from a wound he sustained at the couple’s home.
