Pleaded guilty to drug charges
A NEW ROSS man who has pleaded guilty to a number of drug-related charges has had sentence adjourned to allow for the preparation of a Probation and Welfare report.
Ronan Godkin, of 6 Arda Alainn, New Ross, came before Judge Martina Baxter at Wexford Circuit Criminal court on a plea of guilty.
The defendant pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis for sale or supply; possession of cocaine for sale or supply; possession of alprazolam for sale or supply and for the possession of cannabis and cocaine, on November 18 2016 at 6 Ard Alainn, New Ross.
Defence Counsel Liam Stafford asked the court to allow time for the preparation of a Probation and Welfare report. He also asked for a remand on continuing bail.
Prosecuting Counsel Sinead Gleeson said there were no objections to the application.
Judge Baxter adjourned sentencing to January 30 next.
