Cosmetic chemistry workshop

On Saturday, November 18, at 2.30 p.m., a Science Week event called Cosmetic Chemistry with Michelle Maher.

This Cosmetic Chemistry workshop will allow you to experience a day in the life of a Cosmetics Chemist. Discover the amazing chemistry behind some everyday cosmetics and products. Apply your science knowledge and learn how to synthesise a range of cosmetics including bath bombs, lip balms and dissolving salt melts. Participants will have fun creating, testing and marketing their very own cosmetic item to take home. This workshop is for 12-18 year old and places are limited.
