High fives for Rangers PREMIER DIVISION

LEADERS GOREY Rangers continued their perfect start to the Premier Division campaign when they made it five wins out of five with a 3-0 win over Bridge Rovers on Sunday.

Adam Territ, Paul Murphy and Gary Murphy scored for the pacesetter­s, while goalkeeper Anthony Masterson was in unbeatable form between the sticks.

Shamrock Rovers had to settle for a point for the second week running when they were held to a scoreless draw by local rivals Moyne Rangers.

North End United had no problem finding the back of the net as they overwhelme­d Gorey Celtic 5-0 thanks to a double from Kyle Dempsey, with Decky Downes and Gary Byrne also scoring and an own goal completing their tally.

Courtown Hibs made it three wins from four when edging out Tombrack 2-1, with Conor Fortune and Glen Hughes scoring for Hibs and Eoin Carton replying.
