COOKERY CLASSES

Would you like to learn how to cook some new and exciting food for your family this Christmas? Do you have somebody visiting who is coeliac, diabetic or has a heart health issue?

Christmas cookery classes with a difference will take place in Raheen Family Resource centre starting on Monday, November 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. And continuing for six weeks. These classes are free of charge and open to all, but booking is essential by contacting Joyce or Bridget at 051 428805.

ST VINCENT DE PAUL

A new conference of the society of St Vincent de Paul has been formed for the Adamstown, Clonroche, Poulpeasty, Raheen and Newbawn area.

MEN’S COOKERY

A men’s cookery programme takes place in Raheen Family Resource Centre on Tuesday nights from 8.10 p.m. This is a free course which is open to all men. A free counsellin­g service is available at Raheen Family Resource Centre. If you are experienci­ng any kind of stress, anxiety or loss in your life and you feel you would benefit from this service contact Jeanette at 051 428805.

HORTICULTU­RE GROUP

The Horticultu­re Group meet at Raheen Family Resource Centre on Friday mornings from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This group is open to all, so whether you are a complete beginner or an experience­d gardener you would be very welcome. For further informatio­n contact 051 428805.
