CUSHINSTOWN ICA
There was the usual good attendance at the October meeting of Cushinstown Guild. Good progress was reported on the landscaping at the church which is being carried out by a group of dedicated members of the guild. Following a vote it was decided to continue organising the annual senior citizens party. Guest for the night was councillor Michael Sheehan, who gave a very informative presentation on the State Pension cuts which have resulted in many retired people, especially women, receiving a reduced income.
