Motorist is fined €500

A fine of €500 was handed down by Judge Gerard Haughton to Darragh Quirke (34) of Berkeley in New Ross for a motor tax offence.

The prosecution was taken by Garda Cathal Burke as a result of his investigations at Coolamurray on the morning of January 7.

Gorey District Court was told that the car had previously been registered to Quirke’s parents.
