Thank you, Graham!

GENEROUS Graham Murphy from Ballyoughter, Gorey, raised €2,740 for his school recently through a sponsored walk. Graham presented a cheque to his principal, Rita Waters of Our Lady of Fatima in Wexford, after his family organised the walk to help raise funds for the school.

The walk, which took place in early October, was very well-supported by everyone. Refreshments were served in the new school in Ballyoughter and a raffle took place, with a lot of great prizes sponsored by local people and businesses.

Mrs Waters said: ‘More than 40 people took part in the walk from Ballyoughter to Clogh, which was about 7.5 km.’
