Box Cup this weekend

THE FIRST-EVER Wexford Box Cup will take place in St. Joseph’s centre, Bishopswater, from Friday to Sunday, November 10 to 12.

This event is being run jointly by St. Ibar’s/St. Joseph’s of Wexford and Sacre Coeur from Enniscorthy.

The competition is open to boys and girls aged eleven to 18. Some of the best under-age boxers in Europe are included in the 350 entries. Boxing will commence at 1.30 p.m. on Friday.
