Cormac’s continue their winning run

St. Cormac’s maintained their advantage at the top of Division 2 with a hard-fought 3-2 win over New Ross Town on Sunday.

Paul Donnelly bagged a brace for the saints, with an own goal completing their tally and Stephen O’Leary and David Murphy replying for Town.

Second-placed Cloughbawn kept the pressure on with a 2-1 win over St. Joseph’s, with Páidí Cullen and Martin Kehoe scoring for the winners.

Adamstown overcame bottom side Wexford Celtic 2-1 with goals from Conor Hickey and Tom Shannon, while Martin Flynn and Patrick Naughter got on the scoresheet for Killenagh Wanderers as they won 2-1 away to Fastnet Rovers. 2-0, while Shelburne overcame Rosbercon by the same scoreline, with Jess Quigley and Eoin Burke hitting the net.

Wexford Bohs continued their incredible start to the campaign, making it eight wins from eight by edging out Corach Ramblers 3-2 in their top of the table clash on Sunday.

Aaron Walsh and Ciarán Walsh (two) scored for Bohs, with Aaron Diskin and Adam Diskin replying for Ramblers.

All Blacks moved into second spot with a 2-1 win in Curracloe, with Aaron Wright-Power and Mark Doyle scoring for the winners and Thomas Murphy responding.

Daryl Murphy (two) and Peter Nash got the goals for Camolin as they edged out Carne F.C. 3-2, with Fergie Buckley replying with a double.

A Darryl Gray goal was enough for The Ballagh to earn the points against Caim United, while Castledock­rell also chalked up a 1-0 win, with Adam Harte scoring their goal in Ferns.
