The camogie club will hold their AGM on Friday, December 1, at 8.30 in the GAA Complex, This will be preceded by Presentati­on of Medals at 7.30

The winner of this week’s splitthe-pot drawn in the Cloch Ban, is Paddy Cogley, Ballyeden. The pot was €338. Remember 80% of prize money stays local and every week a winner.

Cloughbawn GPA would like to thank all landowners in our region for their continued support and assistance. We would also like to extend our thanks to the Cloch Ban and staff who provided refreshmen­ts after the open day. Thanks to all who sponsored prizes and the following were winners on the day. First place Jack Somers, second Stephen Kennedy third Leslie Monahan. There was also a prize for the Longest Bird competitio­n which was won by Stephen Kennedy. We would like to re-assure all landowners that all our members are covered by the IFA insurance approved scheme and carry identifica­tion while hunting and shooting on your land. CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

Bree-Davidstown Community Games, which involves children from the parishes of Bree, Davidstown and Cloughbawn, are holding church gate collection in these areas on Saturday, November 11, and Sunday, November 12. Your support would be appreciate­d.
