Christmas market at Ramsgrange

-

RAMSGRANGE COMMUNITY SCHOOL is hosting a giant Christmas market on Sunday, November 26th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The enterprise students, together with their teachers and many of the parents at Ramsgrange Community School are preparing to host the Mega Christmas Market and Craft fair. The school has been busily accepting bookings from exhibitors from County Wexford, County Waterford and County Kilkenny. 100 stands are now booked.

So far exhibitors include those with jewellery, knitted goods, plants, wreaths, candles, beauty products, wood craft, baked good, Christmas gift ideas and fancy goods, photography, art and craft produce, to mention only a few.

Families can enjoy a great day, with face painting for the children and after much browsing and shopping, visitors to the school can relax and enjoy a well-earned tea, coffee or hot chocolate in the student run café. Acting Ramsgrange CS Principal Tracey Edwards said: ‘We are expecting a huge turn out from people wishing to avail of this unique chance to do their Christmas shopping.’

Santa will also pay a visit on the day and enjoy some time with the children in his specially commissioned Santa’s grotto, designed and built by the wonderful RCS parent volunteers.
