Christ­mas mar­ket at Rams­grange

RAMS­GRANGE COM­MU­NITY SCHOOL is host­ing a giant Christ­mas mar­ket on Sun­day, November 26th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The en­ter­prise stu­dents, to­gether with their teach­ers and many of the par­ents at Rams­grange Com­mu­nity School are pre­par­ing to host the Mega Christ­mas Mar­ket and Craft fair. The school has been busily ac­cept­ing book­ings from ex­hibitors from County Wex­ford, County Water­ford and County Kilkenny. 100 stands are now booked.

So far ex­hibitors in­clude those with jew­ellery, knit­ted goods, plants, wreaths, can­dles, beauty prod­ucts, wood craft, baked good, Christ­mas gift ideas and fancy goods, pho­tog­ra­phy, art and craft pro­duce, to men­tion only a few.

Fam­i­lies can en­joy a great day, with face paint­ing for the chil­dren and af­ter much brows­ing and shop­ping, vis­i­tors to the school can re­lax and en­joy a well-earned tea, cof­fee or hot choco­late in the stu­dent run café. Act­ing Rams­grange CS Prin­ci­pal Tracey Ed­wards said: ‘We are ex­pect­ing a huge turn out from peo­ple wish­ing to avail of this unique chance to do their Christ­mas shop­ping.’

Santa will also pay a visit on the day and en­joy some time with the chil­dren in his spe­cially com­mis­sioned Santa’s grotto, de­signed and built by the won­der­ful RCS par­ent vol­un­teers.
