SHAMROCK ROVERS moved back to the top of the Premier Division with a 5-2 win over bottom side Gorey Celtic on Sunday.

Tombrack United have adapted nicely to life in the top flight, and they got their second win on the board at the weekend.

Eoin Carton and James Coleman got the goals for the newcomers as they overcame New Ross Celtic 2-1, while Alan Rhodes replied for the Barrowside­rs.

Meanwhile, Bridge Rovers picked up their first win of the campaign, thanks to a 1-0 triumph away to previously unbeaten Bunclody. Shane Hogan grabbed the all-important goal for the Castlebrid­ge side.
