FLOWER ARRANGING

St Louis Day Care Centre is holding a Flower Arranging Demonstrat­ion by Lily Bloom, in the Fort Conan Hotel, Duncannon on Friday, November 17, at 7.30 p.m. Cost is €10. There will be ideas for Christmas flower arrangemen­ts along with pop up shops on the night. Your support would be greatly appreciate­d.

ACTIVE RETIREMENT

Our next monthly meeting will take place on Monday, December 4, in St Louis Day Care Centre starting at 2.15 p.m. Come along for a chat with new and old friends over a cup of tea and a bun. Fadó Fadó – Evening Storytelli­ng and music on Friday, November 24, in the Day Care Centre, Ramsgrange, starting at 7.30 p.m. €2 entry. Please come along and join us. CHRISTMAS MARKET

There will be a giant Christmas Market in Ramsgrange Community School Sunday, November 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be jewellery, knitted goods, plants, wreaths, candles, beauty products, wood craft, baked good, Christmas gift ideas and fancy goods, photograph­y, art and crafts – currently over 100 stalls booked.

Families can enjoy a great day, with face-painting for the children and after much browsing and shopping, visitors to the school can relax and enjoy a well-earned tea or coffee or Hot Chocolate in the student run Café. Santa will also pay a visit on the day and enjoy some time with the children in his specially commission­ed Santa’s Grotto.
