CHRISTMAS CONCERT

The annual Christmas concert will take place this year in the school hall in Newbawn and it promises to be just as good if not better than recent events. The children from the school choir will sing some Christmas carols, Charlie Bradley will lead the way in a night of comedy, Michael Larkin and Harry Doran will have songs and singers galore to keep everyone happy. The Murphy’s provide some traditional irish music.

There will be no shortage of excitement as Santa drops in from the North Pole.

The main door prize is €150 worth of top class coal sponsored by Newbawn post office. Other sponsored prizes gratefully received. Admission on the night is just €5 for adults and children are free. All proceeds are in aid of the senior citizens party that takes place on December 12.
