The Brass Band wish to invite all to their annual Christmas Concert in Duiske Abbey on Friday, December 15, at 8 p.m.,Memorable night guaranteed, Free Admission, with collection on the night.

MAYOR’S CONCERT

Councillor Michael Doyle, mayor of Kilkenny, presents the Mayor’s annual Christmas concert with proceeds going to Family Carers Ireland. Concert starts at 8 p.m. in the Watergate Theatre Kilkenny, Admission €10.

Congratula­tions To James Kielty, Tinnahinch, who had the winning numbers and scooped €20,000 Jack Pot. The numbers drawn were 4, 9, 10 and 16. This week’s lotto jackpot stands at €20,000, and the reserve jackpot at €1,450.The numbers drawn were 4, 9, 26 and 32.

SENIOR CITIZENS PARTY

The Blacks and Whites GAA Club and local parish council had their annual Christmas party for the senior citizens in Tom Walsh Park on Sunday last December 3. It was a very enjoyable evening with over 100 local people attending, and music was supplied by the Skeough Ramblers, Well done to everyone involved.
