Derby joy for Rangers PREMIER DIVISION
GOREY Rangers moved level on points with Shamrock Rovers at the top of the Premier Division table with a 2-1 win over local rivals Courtown Hibs on Sunday.
Stephen Kinsella scored a spectacular 40-yard volley to win the game, with Ryan Cullen earlier on target from the penalty spot and Leighton Gleeson replying for Hibs.
Tombrack United shocked last season’s runners-up Moyne Rangers, coming out on top 1-0 in Enniscorthy.
Kevin Kenny grabbed the winner, scoring from 40 yards with 57 minutes on the clock.
Bunclody fought back from 3-1 down to earn a share of the spoils against Gorey Celtic.
An own goal and strikes from Craig Travers and Matty Kavanagh looked to have the visitors on their way to victory but Jason Somers and P.J. Mulhall (two) ensured Bunclody took something from the game.
