Awesome Albion net magnificent seven DIVISION 3A

LEADERS Wexford Albion netted a magnificent seven on Sunday as they put struggling Shelburne to the sword.

Kyle Mann, Luke O’Neill and Elliot Malone all bagged doubles for the town side, with Liam O’Connor also getting in on the act.

Raheen also had their shooting boots on, as they ran out 5-0 winners away to Rosbercon.

Dylan Whitty was their main man, as he contributed four goals, with Frank Staples also getting on the scoresheet.

Rathnure saw off fellow promotion-hopefuls Ballymurn Celtic 2-0 thanks to a double from Seán O’Connor. Goalkeeper Kyle Martin also played his part, saving a late penalty.

Fethard Rangers racked up a handsome 8-1 win over Rosslare Strand with Jimmy Sutton and Joe Sutton bagging doubles, and Niall Redmond, Danny Mullan, Colm Ryan and Ricky Rowe adding a goal apiece.

Garret O’Brien got the goal for Rosslare Strand.
