Councillor Michael Doyle, mayor of Kilkenny, presets the Mayor’s annual Christmas Concert on December 20 with proceeds going to family carers Ireland. Concert starts at 8 p.m. in the Watergate Theatre Kilkenny, Adm €10.

Funky Kids. Friday, December 22: Funky Kids are a creative group with stage and theatrical background. This Christmas at Graiguenam­anagh Library, Funky Kids are coming to us to dazzle and excite with an interactiv­e children’s Christmas performanc­e workshop for the over six’s. Christmas Story Time. Tuesday, December 19: Fun and interactiv­e reading of some Christmas stories in the cosy children’s library corner at Graiguenam­anagh library. Booking essential.
