There was no jackpot winner last week when the numbers drawn were 12, 15, 19 and 22. The match-three winner was Martina Cummins of Kilbraney. The jackpot for the Christmas lotto draw will be €3,500.

The annual Tintern Review is hot off the press and is currently on sale in local shops and in Ballycullane PO This always makes for a popular gift for Christmas so pick up a copy when there’s still time.

NASH IFA

The Nash branch of the IFA would encourage new farmers, full time farmers and part time farmers to join the local branch. If you would like to join you should contact any of the following committee members, or alternatively contact the IFA in Enniscorthy at 053 9233090.

The committee recently elected consists of Michael Corcoran (chairperson), Thomas Cullen (secretary), Pat Ryan (treasurer), Gerry Maguire (registrar) and Ann Corcoran (delegate).

The various representatives from Nash IFA are Denis O’Connor (beef), Joe Corcoran (grain), Michael Corcoran (dairy) and Thomas Cullen (sheep).

CARDS

Winners in the hall last week were Joan Kehoe, Pat Murray and Martin Hanlon. Second went to Larry Larkin, Billy Shannon and Brendan Colfer. Third were Nick Doyle, Mick Reville and Willie Kehoe while the LGD went to Michael Whelan, Jimmy Larkin and Larry Power.

Raffle winners were James Larkin, Willie Kehoe, Larry Larkin, Mary Kinsella and Larry Larkin again.

The organisers of the card games would like to thank all cardplayers and volunteers alike a very Merry Christmas.
