An audio quiz in aid of Crumlin Hospital is taking place in Dunphy’s Lounge on Saturday, December 23, at 9.30 p.m.

RACKETBALL LEAGUE

Semi-final pairings are Wednesday, December 20 – Div. One Jim Byrne v Eddie O’Neill at 6.50. Tuesday the 19th Leigh O’Brien v Ollie Cummins at 8.50. Div. Two Anthony Rowe v O’Sullivan on Tuesday the 19th at 6.50 Anthony O’Reilly v Seán Hunt on Tuesday at 7.30. Div. Three Fabian Flood v Paddy Roche and Tommy Jones v Andrew Wayland on Wednesday at 8.10. Ladies – Martina Brennan v Margaret Kavanagh on Thursday at 7.30 and Eileen O’Sullivan v Jean O’Reilly or Emily Furlong on Thursday at 8.10.

HISTORICAL CALENDAR

The 2018 Historical Calendar is now on sale in shops throughout the parish or from committee members, Tom Grennan, Denis Cadogan, John Flynn and Michael Walsh. Featuring almost 50 photographs and snippets of history, it costs €10 with the proceeds shared by Horeswood Coiste na nÓg and Horeswood Historical Society.

GAA LOTTO

Lotto numbers were 5, 23, 27 and 31; no jackpot winner; two match-three winners Brendan Hart, Dunbrody and Paul Walsh, Dunganstown. Next draw in Horse and Hound on Friday, December 22. Jackpot €7600/ Horeswood will also have eight by €50 lucky dips.

DOUBLE BINGO NIGHT

There will be a Special Double Bingo Night in Campile Hall on Monday Night New Year’s Night January 1 starting at eight o’clock at which Prize Money for Nine of the Eleven Games will be doubled on the Night which is over €2,100 in total for the normal admission price of Double book €10 Single book €7 and small book €3 all support would be very much appreciated.
