CALIFORNIA DREAMIN’ FOR FORMER LORETO GIRL SARAH

- By DAVID TUCKER

A 26-year-old Wexford woman has achieved her dream and set up her own fitness business in San Diego, California.

Sarah, the daughter of Jim and Stasia Staples, from Wexford town, first travelled to California four years ago to expand her mind and seek new opportunities.

She is currently running her own fitness business, Staplesfitness, changing lives of people through strength in body and in mind in the San Diego area, as well as worldwide online.

The former Loreto student said her business mission is to empower people by showing them that they are fully capable of overcoming limiting beliefs and mental blockages through movement.

Sarah says she educates people on how to move their bodies the way they are designed to move, helping to improve posture and functional movement. This helps to reduce stress, as well as gain muscle strength to protect their joints, prevent injuries, and move more efficiently. ‘Clients are consistently challenged to step outside of their comfort zones to grow, break bad habits, and replace them with healthier ones. They are given full nutrition plans to help heal their guts and reach optimal energy levels,’ she said. StaplesFitness training sessions are held in beautiful parks near the beach as well as in traditional gyms. She holds multiple events and fundraisers for her local community, the most recent being a HIIT/Yoga class.
