BigdayforCTEC’sgraduates
THE Annual Presentation of Awards Ceremony for graduates of CTEC - the Community Training & Education Centre – took place recently at Clayton Whites Hotel, in Wexford.
In her opening address, Training Manager Rachel Tucker welcomed the graduates and their families to the event, commended graduates on their achievements and thanked the CTEC tutors and staff for the work they carry out and their personal commitment to supporting their students to achieve their learning goals.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Mayor of Wexford Cllr Jim Moore congratulated the graduates on their academic success and encouraged them to engage in lifelong learning. The Mayor went on to praise CTEC for providing such a valuable learning and development service to County Wexford and beyond.
Fintan Duggan, of Home Instead, spoke to graduates concerning employment opportunities available in Wexford of qualified Healthcare Care Assistants.
In her closing address, CTEC Manager Patricia Howlin commented that CTEC had built its reputation of excellence in training on the quality standards of the courses provided noting that the centre offered QQI and other certifications that offered graduates real opportunities to source employment.
At the ceremony learners from throughout the county received the following certificates: QQI level 6 Special Purpose Award in Training & Development; QQI level 6 Advanced Certificates in Early Childhood Care & Education; QQI level 5 National Certificates in Early Childhood Care & Education; CTEC Montessori Certificates; QQI level 5 National Certificates in Health Service Skills; QQI level 5 National Certificates in Business Administration; ECDL and QQI Component Awards in Business at level 5 and 6.
