LATE JOHN DEVERAUX
The death has occurred of John Devereux, Kent, England, and formally Herrylock, Fethardon-Sea, Co. Wexford. Beloved partner of the late Charis and sadly missed by his sister Ann, brother Laur, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral Mass took place on Sunday, December 17, in All Saint’s Church, Templetown with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Sympathy is extended to his family and friends.

COISTE NA NÓG AGM
The St Mogue’s Coiste na nÓg AGM will take place on Friday evening, January 5, at 8 p.m. in St Mary’s Hall where the year just gone will be reviewed and plans made for 2018. WEEKLY LOTTO
There was no winner of last week’s Club lotto jackpot of €3,100 so next week’s jackpot stands at €3,300. The club had one lucky-dip winners Laurence Waters, who won €30. The winning numbers were 9, 10, 11 and 22. The club would like to thank everyone who supports the lotto every week and look forward to your continued support in 2018. 45 CARD GAME
There was a three tie for first place in the Progressive 45 Card Game in Colclough Hall, Saltmills last Sunday night between Billy Shannon, Tommy Morrissey and Tony Murphy and Seán Finn and Kathleen Cadogan and Johnnie Colfer, Mick Reville and Michael Murphy. The last game draw was won by John Sinnott, James McDonald and Aidan Colfer. The Hall Committee would like to thank all the card players who supported the game during the year and everyone who helped with the catering. We look forward to seeing you again in the New Year.

CAMOPILE STUDY GROUP
Campile Hall Parents Supervised study group is going well so far but we still have some places available if anyone else is interested in joining, this study group is the perfect opportunity to get homework or study done without any of the usual home distractions three evenings a week here in Campile Hall.
It is open to anyone in third, fifth or sixth years that might be interested in joining, study is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at a cost of €20 per month.

GOAL MILE WALK
Duncannon beach will play host to walkers this New Year’s Day at 12.30 p.m. for the annual Goal Mile.
People of all ages can run or walk the mile. No registration is required for the event, where donations can be made to Goal which helps refugees across the world. The event raises around €800 a year and is a great opportunity to get out and about after being cooped up inside over Christmas.
