Seán Colfer, Nick Doyle and Johnny Flynn were the winners of the cards in St Leonards Hall last Saturday night. Johnny Colfer, Aidan Colfer and Carmel Kehoe, took second prize and Dave Walsh, James McDonald and Mae Dunning took third place. The last game draw winners were David Murphy, John Sinnott and Georgie Foley. The raffle winners on the night were; John Reville, Seán O’Grady, Peter Stafford and Johnny Colfer. The cards continue every Saturday night at 8.30 p.m.

The cards committee would like to extend their sympathy to the family of Seán Doyle, Coole, Campile, who passed away last week. Seán was a long time supporter of the cards in St Leonards. May He Rest In Peace.

PENNY BANK

St Leonards Penny Bank will resume for 2018 on Saturday January 6. It will operate from the hall on Saturday evenings from eight o’clock to 8.30 p.m. and on Sunday mornings after 10 a.m. Mass. All are welcome to join.

LOTTO

There was no jackpot winner and no match-three winner in the Tintern lotto last week. The numbers drawn were 3, 18, 25 and 26. Next week’s jackpot will be €3,650 and next week’s match-three winners will share €400. The draw next week will take place on Wednesday, December 27, at 9 p.m. Tickets on sale in all local shops and from committee members.
